Statement of Faith

“All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

2 Timothy 3:16-17
  1. We believe in the inspired Scriptures, the complete revelation of God for salvation and the authority for Christian faith and life.
  2. We believe in One God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe that Jesus Christ is true God, and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary.
  4. We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Jesus Christ, regenerate the sinner, indwell, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.
  5. We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; that His death was a voluntary sacrifice, and that all who believes in Him are born again on the basis of His shed blood.
  6. We believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ; in His ascension into heaven and in His present ministry as High Priest and Advocate for us.
  7. We believe that salvation is by grace alone, without any merit by man or woman that all who repent and receive Jesus Christ as personal Savior are “born again” and thereby become the children of God.
  8. We believe in the personal, pre-millennial and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ and that this “blessed hope” has a vital influence on the personal life and service of he believer.
  9. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust; the just to everlasting blessedness and the unjust to everlasting punishment and judgement.
  10. We believe that God’s justifying grace must not be separated from His sanctifying power and purpose. God commands us to love Him supremely and others sacrificially, and to live out our faith with care for one another, compassion toward the poor and justice for the oppressed. In obedience to Christ’s commission, we are to make disciples among all people, always bearing witness to the gospel in word and deed.
